About this program
We're comprised of 3 main "learning traditional music" programs: After-School (tuition on a sliding scale from $5/wk-$12/wk) in 13 schools for 300+ students, Evening Program in 5 sites/3 counties (tuition is $10/wk), Summer Day Camp for 45-50 (Sliding Scale from $110/wk-$210/wk)
We rent instruments to students on a sliding scale according to their lunch status ($5/mo-$15/mo)
We have a performing band, Sweet Potato Pie Kids, who practice and play gigs all year (35-50). They also make a CD and have other experiences such as camp, etc. These 5th-8th graders are recommended by instructors and audition for the Band.
